The "big Alpsee" is the largest natural lake in the Allgäu, set amidst meadows, woodland, hills and mountains with a water surface of sq km. The bathing spot on the B308 road, a paradise for bathers and surfers alike, is 13 km from Oberstaufen.
The "small Alpsee" with its heated outdoor pool is an ideal destination for families and water babies. The extensive lawn for sunbathers, the diving platform, an adventure playground as well as a beach volleyball court keep boredom at bay.
