The Oberstaufen mountain cableways
In the summer you can reach the most stunning vantage points and wonderful hiking areas thanks to the Oberstaufen mountain cableways:
HOCHGRAT
The Allgäu Alps, Lake Constance, the Swiss, Vorarlberg and Lechtal Alps – all are at your feet. The 1833 m Hochgrat is the highest mountain in western Allgäu and the most distinctive summit of the Nagelfluh mountain chain. It is also the highest point of the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park.
The summit station at 1708 m, is the starting point for short and extensive hiking and walking on well marked routes.

IMBERG
The new construction of the Imberg mountain cableway has greatly improved the accessibility of the Imberg hiking area. An Alpine adventure trail, full of diversity and ideal for families, gives interesting information about the characteristics of the region and complements the range.
The newly opened "Sport Hauber" forest rope course is situated amidst the beautiful Nagelfluh mountain chain at the Imberg ridge. The adventure walking trail leads in the direction of Hohenegg(Bärenloch) to the forest rope course.

...and should you stop for a break and refreshments, you can enjoy the view all the way to Switzerland!
