Climbing Garden at Imberg/Ratholz
In Steibis there is a forest high rope gardenwith an obstacle course of ropes and steel cables where you can swing from tree to tree at lofty heights. The Sport Hauber climbing garden has several courses with varying levels of difficulty. The challenge mounts as you climb from one station to the next. From the Imberg summit station it is approx. 15 minutes' walk to the forest high rope garden at the Hohenegg Alp. The Imberg mountain cableway can be used without charge by holders of the Oberstaufen PLUS card.
An exciting experience with lots of variety. Bystanders are always welcome.
The climbing garden is open daily from 11 a.m. till 5 p.m.. Children wishing to try the course must be at least 115 cm in height. Climbing gear is provided by "Sport Hauber". Durable clothing and sturdy footwear is recommended.
Situated in a spruce forest, the Bärenfalle woodland climbing range in Ratholz, 10 km from Oberstaufen is Bavaria's biggest high rope climbing range and one of Allgäu's most beautiful attractions. Even on a rainy day it's worth a visit. The climbing range has 14 different high rope courses with 150 elements, measuring between 1 and 15 metres in height and fitted to the trees. Children older than 6 and of at least 120 cm in height are permitted to use the high rope climbing range.
The yellow, orange and green courses are specifically aimed for use by children. All children under 14 years of age must be accompanied on the high rope courses by an adult who is responsible for the safety of the child.

Detailed instruction is first given concerning all safety measures; no prior training is required. On request, qualified instructors are constantly at hand. Prior registration is only necessary for groups. Look forward to an exciting and unusual outing!
