Golf course Oberstaufen - Steibis
The attractive 18 hole golf course (PAR 70) is set in an exceptionally scenic high valley at 800 metres altitude. At the foot of the "Hochgrat" mountain, nature has set the scene for a unique golfing experience: biotopes, rocks, springs and mature trees blend in with a panorama which makes even the most experienced golfer's eye stray from the ball.
The practice course with driving range, putting and chipping green and roofed-over hitting box provide optimal possibilities.
The Oberstaufen-Steibis golf course is rated in the category ****Superior by the German Golf Course Association. You require HCP 45 or 54 for guests of a partner hotel.
After a challenging round of golf, relax in the pleasant laid-back atmosphere of the club house, situated in pleasant rural surroundings.
Golf Park Riefensberg - Bregenz Forest
Set in idyllic surroundings, straddling the river Weissach and just 10 km from Oberstaufen in Austria's Riefensberg, lies the 18 hole Bregenz Forest Golf Course.
The Bregenz Forest is one of the Alp's most beautiful regions. This highly attractive course, designed by the archtiect Kurt Rossknecht, is situated close to Lake Constance in the three-country border region of Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
The extensive course (par 71) blends in with the natural surroundings, thereby conserving the original charm of the area. The varied terrain of rolling hills, mature woodland and small water inlets to the river Weissach which flows through the grounds, form an impressive natural backdrop at any time of the day.
Artificial lakes and bunkers round off the natural obstacles. The course becomes a stunning game experience, thanks to the inclines and slopes, alternating broad fairways and narrow corridors.
The masterly combination of genuine hospitality and culinary skill lends this region, steeped in tradition, an atmosphere conducive to easy-going pleasure and relaxation - both on and off the golf course.
Golfplatz Oberstaufen - Buflings
The Oberstaufen golf course is situated on a beautiful sunny terrace on the periphary of Oberstaufen in Buflings, just 1 km from the centre of Oberstaufen. The golf club (par 68) has an 18 hole course „Buflings“ and a 6 hole „pay & play“short course „Zell“ set in beautiful surroundings, as well as extensive practice areas with a driving range, putting green, chipping green, pitching green and training bunkers. No charge is made for the use of the practice facilities.
The well-maintained golf course stretches as far as the picturesque Schwarzenbach valley and offfers some of the most beautiful views of the Allgäu countryside.
Beginners can take golf instruction individually or in groups. Experienced players can hone their skills with the help of a professional.
After a round of golf, relax on the sun terrace or inside the pleasant dining area and treat yourself to some of the delicacies on offer at the golf restaurant.
The Oberstaufen Golf Centre is a PLUS GOLF partner. Requisite is HCP 36 or 54 for guests of the partner hotel.
